| Historical Background |
Barangay Limpapa is situated in the West Coast of Zamboanga City. It is the last Barangay and the boundary between Zamboanga City and Zamboanga del Norte. Before the Spaniards came to the Philippines, Subanen, a native tribe has settled in this Barangay. Big trees are growing everywhere specially the Molawin which they call inSubanen as Lipapa tree. And from it came the name of Barangay Limpapa. |
