Renewal of Business Permit

ABOUT THE SERVICE

This service can be availed at the City Permits and Licenses Division, Office of the City Mayor, Ground Floor, City Hall-Main, Zamboanga City, by any person and all establishments with expiring business permit who wish to continue to operate a business legally as mandated by law under the Zamboanga City Revenue Ordinance 92-008.

CLIENT

Business establishments and individuals engage in business

Renewal starts on October 1 of the previous year prior to the succeeding renewal period on the first working day of January:

  1. Applicant secures Business Permit application form from the Business Permit and Licensing Division, Office of the City Mayor, Ground floor, City Hall and the needed requirements from various agencies.
  2. Following City Government offices and other national offices conduct inspection and approve the application on their city hall-linked computers in ADVANCE.
    • Office of the City Engineer
    • Office of the City Veterinarian
    • Office of the City Planning and Development Officer
    • City Tourism Division, Office of the City Mayor
    • City Police Station
    • Bureau of Fire Protection

Note: Assessment starts on January

  4. Health and Sanitary Permit
  5. Fire Safety Inspection Certificate
  6. Fishery Permit (for fishery-based businesses)
  7. OCENR Clearance (for businesses involving Lumber and Sand & Gravel)
  8. Veterinary Clearance (for poultry, livestock and farm-based businesses)
  9. Community Tax Certificate (renewal year)
  10. One (1) recent 2x2 ID picture
  11. Other national offices' clearance
