P2.8M Recodo covered court unveiled

Mayor Celso Lobregat together with Vice Mayor Cesar Iturralde led in the blessing and inauguiration of the newly constructed covered court amounting to P2.8 million in Recodo, a coastal barangay in the west coast of this city.

Undertaken by RC Construction and Realty in the amount of P2,841,279.04, the covered court  brought to the total of P62.3 million worth of various projects implemented by Lobregat’s administration in Recodo  since 2007.

In his message, Lobregat said the biggest bulk of projects implemented  in Recodo was in 2009 when the city government spent a total of P33,821,976.78 worth of projects, foremost of which were the construction of five two-storey buildings with eight classrooms each at Recodo National High Schools, construction of Recodo Fire Station, Barangay Hall and road network.

In 2007, the city implemented P4.5 million worth of projects, P1.07 million in 2008, P791.794.94 in 2010, P10.8 million in 2011 and ongoin projects include a two-storey eight-classroom building costing P9.8 million at Recodo NHS and the Recodo Police Station in the amount of P1.4 million.

Also present during the inauguration rites August 10, were Councilors Gerky Valesco, Noning Biel and Jimmy Cabato together with City Engineer Luis Vicente Despalo and the barangay officials of Recodo headed by Chairman Boy Aminula.-(Vic Larato)
