Historical Background Akel una tiempo, este isla de Tumalutab bien manada gayot "kutu" na casa, na petate y na camino.  Este "kutu" tan lutang na agua salao, pureso alli ya saca el nombre de Tuma (kutu) Lutab (tan lutang na agua).

Bien manada gayot este kutu na isla.  Pati akel tiempo hinde ta usa kalson el maga gente.  Ta man tapis lang sila, kay este tuma ay rasca na cuerpo.  El maga gente si ta anda
canila el tuma ensiguidas sila ta anda na agua salao para sapa el tuma na di ila cuerpo y ta man lutang lang el maga tuma na agua salao.  Aqui ya saca el nombre del "Tumalutab".
Desciption Barangay Tumalutab is, more or less, an hour-long by pump boat from the Sangali Fishing Port where residents usually dock their motorboats and goods for sale.
Barangay Fiesta Fiestas are not celebrated since the residents are predominantly Muslims.  Instead, festivities are observed during the Hariraya Ei'dil Fitri as the culmination of the Holy Month of Ramadan
