2013 Accomplishment Highlights

A.  Overview

The Office of the City Civil Registrar is mandated to carry out the civil registration program of the city; develop plans and strategies particularly those which have to do with civil registry programs and projects; accepts all registrable documents and judicial decrees affecting the civil status of persons; transmits to the Office of the Civil Registrar-General duplicate copies of registered documents; receives applications for the issuance of marriage license; and conduct educational campaigns for vital registration and assists in the demographic and other statistics for the city.

 

The Office with its effort to strengthen the people’s awareness in the registration of civil documents conducted orientations to the different barangays, as well as, processed mass mobile registrations of birth and marriage.

 

Through the initiative of Her Honor, Mayor Maria Isabelle G. Climaco, the office also provides information/dissemination campaign through the Dia Del Alcadeza program.

Conduct of Mobile Registration in the Different Barangays

 

The office conducted mobile registration as well as information/dissemination campaigns to different barangays in the city.
